 Welcome to Paradise-beautiful Port O’Connor, Texas!
Over 30 years ago a group of Community Leaders got together to form an organization, now known as the Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce, to promote commerce and business activities in Port O’Connor. This organization also acts as a voice for the community in lieu of a local government.
Today, the Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce not only fulfills its original goals, but also gives scholarships to needy students, sponsors the renowned 4th of July Fireworks Weekend Celebration, Christmas Lighted Boat Parade, Christmas House Lighting Contest & POCIF Fishing Tournament Parade. The Chamber has been instrumental in the creation of Kingfisher Beach and its beautification program, the Pedestrian Ferry to Matagorda Island and formed the first sub-committee, which lead to the creation of our beautiful Port O’Connor Community Center.
The Port O’ Connor Chamber of Commerce is moving into the 21st Century to be even more responsive and productive to the community by sponsoring a dynamic and interactive website available to all Members for promoting their businesses.

| Participation - Have a voice in the community by attending the Monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Chamber Office on Main St.
Directory Listing - Each member is listed in the Business Directory and, for a small fee, receives a link to their own website from PortOConnor.com.
Advertising - Utilize the advertising tools of the dynamic and interaction website of the Chamber of Commerce, PortOConnor.com, to promote your business by buying a rotating banner, business directory banner, featured link, home page sponsorship, section sponsorship or feature page.
