Over the last week you may have noticed crews arriving in Port O’Connor. Cotton Logistics moved in to provide camp management support for the crews working to access the environmental impact of the recent oil spill in Galveston Bay.
Oil Spill Reaches Matagorda Island
Barge Accident Saturday, March 22, a barge, owned by Houston-based Kirby Inland Marine Corp, was traveling the Houston Ship Channel when struck by a ship. 2013 Annual Lighted Boat Parade
Several boats participated in the Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce Lighted Boat Parade, despite the cold temperature. The parade started at Froggies and ended at the judges tent in Caracol. To all of the participants, thank you. This is a wonderful annual event and a great way to kick-off the holiday.
2013 Toy Run
